X Factor USA Show Highlights & Videos from 11/15

Tonight on X Factor, two of the contestants faced double elimination. As with last week, Mario Lopez will announce the rankings of the votes received and tallied. All 12 performers take center stage to learn their fate. But before that, clips were played from last night’s show.

Mario announced that he would send one act home…after the break. Now I watch several singing competition shows and Ryan Seacrest, from American Idol, does that exact same thing. When an elimination is about to take place, they cut to commercial. After the commercial break, Mario announces that Lyric 145 had the lowest number of votes. That was quite a shocker. I thought they would last another week at least.

Taylor Swift performs tonight and she sang her song State of Grace, which she is doing live for the first time.

The rest of the acts are back on stage with more results. Arin learns that he is safe and also safe is CeCe. That leaves Fifth Harmony, Paige Thomas and Jennel Garcia. Fifth Harmony is safe which means that Jennel and Paige have to sing for one spot.

Jennel chooses The Reason by Hoobastank. Jennel was a little pitchy at times but this was her best performance on the show. She sings this song from her heart and it is very heartfelt. Paige sings Paradise by Coldplay. Paige pulled off an amazing performance. This was probably her best song on the show as well.

It is time for the judges to decide who they want to send home. LA, Simon and Britney vote for Jennel to go home yet Demi wants to vote off Paige. In the end, majority wins and Jennel is sent home.
