X Factor USA Show Highlights & Videos from 12/6
Tonight the Top 6 become the Top 4. This season has really gone by fast. CeCe Frey tells Simon that it didn’t matter if she went home or not because if he didn’t write her the $5 million dollar check, someone else certainly will. Well there is someone who is overly confident.
Melanie Amaro who won X Factor last year performed her new single, Long Distance. Amazing job. The finalists talk about their favorite music memories while they are showing off their brand new headphones. The headphones named after whom else, Simon.
It is time for the first elimination and it was none other than CeCe Frey who got the lowest number of votes and therefore is sent packing. Guess she won’t be getting that check after all, at least not from Simon. She was a little upset but not too much.
The first act that is safe is Emblem3. Then they announce that Carly Rose and Tate Stevens are all safe, which means Diamond White and Fifth Harmony will sing away to stay in the show.
Fifth Harmony sings Mariah Carey’s Anytime You Need a Friend. They didn’t do too badly. They had solid harmonies but a couple girls just aren’t great solo performers.
Diamond White sings I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. She isn’t fairing so well. She is off-key and screeching everywhere.
Time for the judge’s decision. Britney votes to send home Fifth Harmony and the other three votes for Diamond White.
So Diamond and CeCe go home. Your Top 4 are Emblem 3, Carly Rose, Tate Stevens and Fifth Harmony. Tate Stevens is at the top of the leader board with the most votes.
