X Factor USA Show Highlights & Videos from 9/26

The X Factor was definitely full of surprises tonight. Tonight and tomorrow night are the last nights of auditions before boot camp starts. The auditions are being held in Providence, Rhode Island. The opening of the show has your usual antics. We see a band called One4Five. Britney’s manager teases her to mess with a crew member. Then you see the One4Five guys arguing and Simon arrives in style, a scooter and he has police presence. Nothing too exciting but there were some great talent tonight.

Adonis and John choose the song Hello by Lionel Richie. Adonis is the owner of a diner and John is one of his employees. Well when I said there was some great talent, I surely didn’t mean these two. Adonis desperately tries to convince us he is a rapper and John does quite a bit of grunting. As you may think, they were given No’s by all four judges and sent on their merry way.

Wade is a runner for the judges and that is who Britney chose to mess with. A runner is someone who gets the judges whatever they need. She demands that Wade get her a director’s chair, a straw hat and a cold Pepsi. When he brings here the straw hat, she said she wanted a tiara not a hat.

Dinah Jane Hansen is 15 years old and L.A. predicts she will be one of the finalists this season. In fact L.A. tells her that she brought the song places Beyonce wouldn’t ever take it to. She got 3 Yeses and on to boot camp she goes.

Before they go off to Greensboro, NC for auditions, they have to listen to Changy Li. She is 52 years old and dressed as a nurse. She does look much younger than 52 though. But can she sing? Oh NO! She has a very thick Asian accent and she is just all over pitchy. She got 4 flat out NO!

Austin Corini is a 16 year old that all the girls just love. He takes on Wanted by Hunter Hayes. He has a great voice, great smile and awesome hair. Britney and Demi love him and give him the nods to go through. Simon and Reid put him through because they believe he has star potential.

David Corey is 26 years old and sang Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. He was adopted from Brazil because his birth mom was only 14 and too young to care for him. As much as he loves his family, he wants to know his birth mom so that he knows where he came from. Turns out, he has a very powerful, very amazing voice. He gets put though to boot camp with tears in his eyes.

In the San Francisco auditions, we meet Tara Simon, a 27 year old. She is a bit on the conceited side. She thinks that after she WINS, she will be one of the judges. Her voice is good and she has control. She is a bit old-fashioned and a little weird at the same time. But because she is so annoying, I don’t think viewers will see past that and vote for her. But the judges saw her talent and she gets 4 yeses.
